The Void is used in this article to refer to the Void Room within Castle Zorn.
The Void is a place where those within are nothing and experience nothing for as long as they are inside. Azrael described it as 'Consciousness within nothing'. One does not experience the Void after redeath.
Inside the Void, time moves differently. A second feels like a day. A minute feels like two months.
The Void is used as torture, though depending on the person it may not be. As your experience within the Void is shaped by your thoughts and memories, some, such as Harold, use it for recreation. Others are permanently traumatized.
The Void has been stated to be the opposite of Holy Fire or Hell Fire .
Allocen is the only person who can remove people from the Void in Zorn, though other angels have been stated to have their own little slice of nothingness (Azrael)
